52. Interesting... Since you've been so kind to share your theory with us...
...perhaps I should share mine as well.

My theory is that a certain element is invested in maintaining the status quo, which is to say, our sham two-party system. This, despite the fact that one of those two parties long since forfeited any claim to legitimacy whatsoever, and indeed is nothing more than a crime syndicate using a "political party" as a front, while the other and sole remaining party remains curiously spellbound at the emperor's new clothes.

This element works to sustain a permanent wedge between conscientious citizens, separating "tinfoilers" from the obedient herd, keeping both irreconcilably at odds with the other, and thus preventing empowerment through common, enlightened self-interest.

Now, your theory actually does at times come into play as a subset of the larger scheme. However, I'm mystified at your sudden zeal to trumpet it louder than the rest of the orchestra, despite clear indications that it is not and can not be the complete opus. You are, in any case, advising a rather select audience, one which overwhelmingly accepts the current reality of our political process as a deadly, zero sum game, and whose immediate priority is getting Democrats elected.

It may benefit to keep in mind that there are scads of other places on the internet infinitely more inviting to those not willing or able to accept that reality, and that a surprising number of conscientious and aware people visit them. Of course, the meta-op described above is determined that never the twain shall meet; that people are something to be herded with shiny carrots and fearsome sticks, not united in truth.
