It's much HARDER to actually work to get Democrats elected. Please don't buy into any of the tinfoil that is being posted on DU telling you that your vote won't matter because they are simply going to hijack the government through various executive orders..bla bla blah..

It's all too easy to engage in this nonsense when you SHOULD be working on elections:

For instance:

What if we are hit by a 5 km wide meteor before the election?

What if the Canary Islands slide into the Atlantic Ocean before the election and send a 600 meter (1900 foot) high wall of water towards the US East Coast?

What if the supervolcano under Yellowstone national park erupts before the election obliterating 2/3's of the country?

What if the Russians mistake an exercise for reality and launch their nukes at us before the election?

What if the ebola virus mutates and becomes spread like the common cold before the election?

What if the sun erupts in a massive solar flare before the election?

Ohhh...nooo..Mr.. Bill....

It's easy to predict the end of the world and be paranoid and defeatist.

It's much harder to work for real change and get Democrats elected.
