:(
I've written before that my DH was laid off a couple years ago and no luck finding another position.
Typical stereotypical republican supervisor blowhard. Derided everyone that had ANY differing views...even other conservatives. Just an overall rude and nasty man with the sweetest wife and kids you can imagine.
Ended up bringing my DH back at 1/3 of the salary and no benefits because of outrage of clients who threatened to take their business elsewhere...and at the time, we weren't in the position to turn down the "offer".
Anyway...last week, his wife filed for divorce. Today, he lost his job.
The bitter irony is that they are asking my DH to step into the position--much more money and benefits.
Sometimes the good guys do win out.
But I honestly hope that this guy has a chance to land on his feet.
His failure didn't feel as good as I thought it would. :(
