SARAH SALAD = Bush + Reagan

Last night on the Olbermann and Maddow shows, clips were shown of Palin channeling bush and reagan. The majority of her scripted performances are just that scripted and performance - and are chock full of cut/paste verbiage from bush and reagan.

I noticed the similarities between Palin and bush in her speech when she was first introduced to the country.

Alaska is a big state. Texas is a big state.
Alaska borders on a foreign country. Texas borders on a foreign country.
Alaska is an oil/energy state. Texas is an oil/energy state.
Palin is a first term governor. Bush was a 1 term governor.

This brings up big questions - who is the real Palin? How much of the folksy, winky, story-telling is pure Palin, and how much is a cheap spin-off, a caricature, or to put it more blunty - a false image? Where does bush-reagan end and Palin begin?
