But stop beating your head against the wall. You know that nothing will change their minds.
I'm scared to death to go home for a wedding right after the election because I don't want to get ganged up on again like I was the LAST time I went home for a wedding. It was so awful that I left in tears. Well, actually I didn't. I held it together long enough for my husband and I to get in the rental car and drive away. Then I broke down.
It was so embarassing to have my husband witness their loony right wing wackoism and their blatant racism and their flat out stupidity, not to mention their downright weird fundy interpretation of the Bible. I was horrified.
I know what you're going through and I'll include sending good thoughts to you tonight before I go to bed. Hang in there.
