Surely she believes in the 10 Commandments, and is familiar with the commandment not to bear false witness. That being the case, doesn't she feel some obligation to investigate such a serious allegation? After all, this isn't some idle church gossip about who colors her hair or something. This is about the presidency of the United States. And here she is spreading rumors not knowing whether they're true or not. That seems rather shameful.
