5. Repukes feast on "fairness"
The natural inclination for a reporter is to take both points of view with a grain of salt. That's fine. But what if one of them is clearly, with a bit of journalistic effort to find out, wrong or flip-flopping or just downright lying on most EVERY issue?

Why such deference? Its as if they have decided not to play the "intrepid reporter" but the ignorant average American. They don't know nuthin, so they can't be accused of bias, and lose half their audience.
