5. The state of Oregon has been voting by mail for years now
And they love it. Liberals, conservatives, everyone loves it. You can vote from your kitchen table after reviewing the ballot and able to actually take the time to know what issues you are voting for or against. You don't have to stand in any lines and maybe run into that person you have been avoiding or trying to find a parking spot or just plain having the hassle of going to a voting booth. don't have to worry about IDs or arguments or anything. Oregon also has one of the largest "turn outs" in the nation. what does that tell you?
