Hell, that same day they were criticizing Dan Rather for wondering where the President was all day. Political spin THAT VERY FUCKING DAY!!!

In the meantime police had to order Dick Durbin out of hearings in downtown Chicago when he tried to continue with his business that day. Months later the Republicans in the House closed up shop and left the city when Senate Democrats were targeted by anthrax attacks. While the Democrats in charge of the Senate continued their business until public safety officials ordered the building evacuated.
