3. More proof that we've become too stupid to live.
Allowing any person or privately controlled company to "own" an essential, limited, resource like water is just begging to be abused. Unlike food, which is produced (and requires water), and is therefore not (reasonably) finite and can be produced by virtually anybody, fresh water is demonstrably finite, universally essential, and scarce, so it should be one of the most obvious of the "commons" (see Thom Hartmann) shared by each member of our societies.

Letting a parasite like Pickens control this supply is idiocy in itself.
