84. what we have in BushCo is a rogue executive branch . . .
that does whatever the hell they want to do regardless of U.S. or international law, and generally for the financial gain of themselves and their corporate allies . . . as General Smedley Butler once said, war is a racket -- and BushCo has extended the concept to encompass the whole of the executive branch of government . . .

you'd think -- and hope -- that the other two branches would recognize an executive completely out of control and do something to stop it . . . unfortunately, BushCo apparently has enough of the judiciary in their pocket to prevent the courts from intervening, and there are still enough Republicans (and enabling Democrats) in Congress to prevent real legislative action . . .

if we're to prevent this situation from becoming permanent (i.e. a fascist corporate state), then something's gotta give . . . and soon . . .
