and your familial diabetes is absorbed by the group, just as someone else's familial heart disease..

We are all human..we all get sick, we all die.. our ultimate "risk" is the same, really..

A perfectly healthy woman in the prime childbearing years can (and many do) end up with a preemie who requires 3 months in NICU...and an overweight, unhealthy-appearing woman can (and most do) have an uncomplicated birth of a perfectly healthy child..

People USED to choose their insurance companies, now insurance companies choose their "people".. They have gerrymandered us all into tidy little boxes, and assigned us all particular risks..Nice for them..look at all the Crystal Cathedrals they have built all over the world..look at all the golf tournaments & TV shows they have "given" us...with our premium money.. The only things they no longer give us are real service, affordable premiums, and actual health care..
