I was just responding to various questions that you posed to either myself or other posters.
For the record, I'm advocating taking steps to push oil companies to develop and drill on the leases that they already hold. I believe the DRILL Act would have also helped speed up the sale of leases of areas of the Alaskan wilderness that are already open to oil exploration. What I'm not advocating is the opening of new areas of public land for oil development such as ANWR and off-shore areas.
