147. I agree with you. The site has become somewhat watered down.
I posted about this in another forum but it makes sense to me that if one doesn't understand and agree with the views of Noam Chomsky or Gore Vidal or Al Gore then they don't belong here. DU is supposed to be progressive. Lately this place feels like a republican convention. Boring, redundant, angry, insecure, and over reactive. One of the biggest problems is that the media has not been exposed for it's complicity in the Iraq debacle. People continue to lap up shit from the folks who lied to all of us. While that continues we're all screwed.
