8. What Dangerous Position Is * Putting Himself Into If He Pardons Libby?........
He knows he has the ability (given to him by the Constitution) to give Libby a pardon. He also knows that the Dems won't do anything or can't do anything about it. There will be public outcry by the Dems for a few days. The cable news shows will make a big deal about it - but have the * apologists on - supporting * on this. The furor will die down in a news cycle or two - and *Co is back to business as usual.

When they called Clinton the 'teflon president' - they didn't see * coming at the time.

The sad thing is - if the Dems don't jump on this right away - they will squander the opportunity for any further investigation to this Plame outing and the Niger forgeries - and the lying us into this so-call war.

Already - the * apologists were on last night and saying if Libby flips now - he will have no crediblity as a witness against *Co because he would be seen as a desperate convicted felon.

No - * wouldn't be putting himself into a dangerous position as you indicate - Rove is already a couple of steps beyond that.
