If he is speaking at Monticello on July 4, is that another one of his carefully protected and staged events - or is there a chance he will actually be able to see protesters this time? Chimpy hasn't been seen before the general public since the Coretta Scott King funeral, to my recall. Only carefully staged and controlled events have seen him.

If he is speaking at Thomas Jefferson's home, it would be disgusting in the extreme if dissent is stifled. But then again, George Bush is closer to Robert Mugabe philosophically than he is to Thomas Jefferson.

Anyway, it would be nice if some Jeffersonian DUers were there to "greet" him. If that is possible.
