Thanks for providing the context. I didn't want to go over there.
Not directed against the OP as I see the point, but this story is too tragic to politicize it. I agree with those who said that choice works both ways.

Although she did it to save her child, it must have still been a damn hard decision. I really hope that she and her family, knowing that there wasn't much time left, used the year they had in the best way possible to enjoy their life, despite financial troubles.
