I think she is filled with ego, ambition, cunning knowledge of what grabs attention, and an unshakeable belief that that is no such thing as bad publicity. She ia also expert at crafting book titles and talking points that are meant to mislead the less educated and unsophisticated.

This - woman? - is all about money and self-promotion. She would change her stance and her politics in a heartbeat, if the money flowed elsewhere.

She knows she can say this shit and get away with it because the people she attacks 1) have no time to answer to her petty remarks, and 2) if they do feel inclined to answer, it only gives her fodder for more petty, inane remarks which she will use to try to make them look bad. So, she is ignored or given a cursory wag of the finger.

The worst thing that could happen to this - woman? - is to have the press completely ignore her, a la Paris Hilton, or for the vast majority of people to form such a distaste for her rants that no politician would want to be tainted by association with her.

The short-cut to this would be for her to press the boundary once too often with someone very wealthy with a very short fuse. Such a person would take her on, keep her attorneys fully occupied, and keep her on tiptoe so as not to give the prosecutors ammo.
