It's easy to comprehend what most people are trying to say, despite spelling errors. The problem is simply the negative judgment that a good speller will place on a bad speller. Some of the smartest people I know are bad spellers. As I said in another thread, I don't judge until the 80% accuracy rule is violated. Even then, who can blame someone for being a bad speller when we have such horrible public school systems?
