But then I spent my early 20's in security and as a cop so I got rather suspicious of people early on :)

I still pay close attention in the hood and at stores to people (and it has paid off as I have busted several people stealing from others back in Ohio, including from my neighbor's house after she died).

On the other hand though I will say I have seen a lot of homeless people hanging out in parking lots just looking for spare change, bottles, cans, etc to recycle.
