Checking in before going under

I'm now 12 hours away from going in for my second surgery. I just wanted to poke my head in and say "au revior" to folks as I finish up my on-line stuff and start packing and taking my last meds before trying to get some restful sleep before the chemically induced kind.

I also wanted to thank the folks on here. With the assistance of some in navigating red tape, and unsolicited donations from others, my entire hospital bill has been paid, including the expected costs of this procedure.

I should be waking up sometime around 6 PM tomorrow night, and will have my laptop taken up to my room when the surgery is done. (The hospital has free wi-fi, which is nice.) I'll probably check in once the Dilaudid wears off sometime Saturday.

Please hold down the fort, and keep the people in GDP from killing each other while I'm away. I'll be back as fast as I can.
