Todays story comes not from the newspapers (though it may have been mentioned there) but rather from my brother who winters in Florida.Last winter a local eccentric was rescued by police who found him swimming naked in an abandoned quarry and in the act of being eaten by an alligator....the attack cost him half an arm and a few misc. chunks...One night this week a team of policemen on patrol spotted an empty pickup truck parked in a secluded area and called in the plate-came back registered to the attack victim from the previous summer. Searching nearby the police heard a voice speaking and water splashing.Following the sounds they came to a nearby pond where our hero was-naked and wading knee deep while talking to a large alligator clearly visible nearby.....This year's medical aid will include a psychiatric evaluation.
