"Inconvenient Truth": My contribution.

If "An Inconvenient Truth" wins its well-deserved Oscar tonight, there's going to be a huge jump in demand for the movie among library patrons. I know when I was waiting for it, a few months back, I started out as number 500- or 400-something on the waiting list. (I eventually saw it at someone else's house, and then bought my own copy from Amazon.) By the time I took myself off the list, I was still at #200-something.

So, if the movie wins tonight, I've decided to donate my copy to the library. It might reach more people that way than if I were to just circulate it among my friends. I can always buy another copy at some point in the future.
