9. I quit focusing on the individual tree years ago and have since tried to focus on the forest.
Whether you love Nader or hate Nader, I believe our problems are much bigger than that, being institutional in nature.

Some people condemn Nader because he said there was no difference between the parties and called Al Gore and George Bush Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb, I view that as a partial truth from an individual human and as such, any human can make mistakes or even be corrupt if you prefer.

However the most damage and biggest threat to our democratic republic comes not from an individual tree but from an entire forest of dysfunctional institutions, whether they be a corporate media set on brain washing the American People by denying or twisting the truth all to suit their own agenda, our corrupted vote counting procedures, our dysfunctional overflowing prison system of 2.2 million Americans the vast majority of which are in for non-violent drug related offenses, the out sized power of the military industrial complex, the hollowing out of our voluntary military while they grow corporate mercenaries. The common denominator of all this is the supremacy of the corporation or super citizen over the American citizen and they rule by the maxim of divide and conquer.
