That's more of a strawman I hear from fundies who make us progressives out to be people who want abortions at anytime during the trimester regardless of reason. Even with the pro-choice groups I have worked with over the DECADES, never once has there been talk that it should be that way.

Choices should be made early, which is why groups like Planned Parenthood try to be available for all women regardless of income.

Later term abortions usually have some extenuating situation that requires the pregnancy to be terminated and usually is a heartbreaking decision made my parents who probably wouldn't want to give up the kid if they could manage it.
