Periodically, the majority of posts I see are obvious flamebait from one faction to another. The subject lines obviously intended to insult the other's supporters and the war begins...


Skinner, couldn't we ask the moderators to institute a 24 0r 48 hour timeout for those posting these kind of threads--i.e., a temporary ban? I think this would go a tremendously long way in restoring some civility. I am among those who remains uncommitted, yet have to get off the fence by Super Tuesday when my own state's caucus is scheduled. I am so upset that there is no longer an opportunity to weigh pros and cons because of the festering anger in some of these posts. Some of the vitriol and misrepresentations rival anything we would see on Free Republic. I credit the moderators for a very very difficult job. I'd just like to give them an additional and temporary tool to reign it in.
