Edwards statement about this:

"Teddy Roosevelt, a great American president -- he didn't make deals with the monopolies and the trusts. Teddy Roosevelt took them on, busted the monopolies, busted the trusts. That's what it's going to take.

We have a battle in front of us. We do."

This just shows how political the business society has become and should reinforce Edwards' position. I'm not surprised, it's the same over here. Business lost most of it's charm when it got political, because--as mr. Donahue says--they have all the money and the society we live in, no matter where we live on this earth, is built to favor business and those who have money. The shere weight of their position as influential lobbyists was enough to scare us, now we see a sort of commercial filter developing that also takes out any candidate not to their taste before the lobbyism even starts.
This does not bode well for the future.
