all you have to do is keep rebuilding the top end. There are plenty out there with million miles or more. Some parts are still stamped W. Germany. Fixing interiors is where the money gets spent. They are tractor simple. The trade off is bad acceleration, and stinky loud diesel. It does not run like a modern E series.

"Diesels last longer than dinosaur bones" is true.

I put 150 on it, rebuilt it after 75000. It is good for 300 more.

However they are picky and not a great daily driver. Your honda fits that bill better.

Subaru and old saabs last forever as well.



This is a great car.. There is a DIESEL CIVIC coming to America!
