It was after I saw an interview on tv with the man who started the whole project. Those little computers have a crank that allows people without electricity to get it powered up like the crank radios. In some homes it becomes the only source of light after dark. In one rural school, the enrollment shot up by 50% from one year to the next when kids told their friends about how much fun it was to go to school.
This project is too cool!  |
