As far as anyone knows (or cares) that jackass in the Whitehouse has been faithful to Laura and yet he is pretty much the worst thing to happen to this country since Raygun. Who cares about this gossipy nonsense..?
If the NYT and LAT are "sitting" on this "story", imo they should continue to do so and *gasp* maybe even do something about covering actual news.
