My husband and I are ceramic flute makers. We met Pete Seeger many years ago at one of the Vancouver Folk Music Festivals. He and Utah Philips strolled up to our booth to check out our ocarinas and flutes. Pete told us that he challenged himself to learn a new instrument each year. He liked our ocarinas and said, as he picked one up, that he thought OCARINA would be his instrument of the year. He reached for his walled and my husband said, "your money is no good here!" It is among our highest honor that Pete Seeger plays our instruments!
