78. why would someone who is intelligent, perceptive and well-informed act so irrationally
To oppose Hillary because she "blows like the wind" and is "disconnected from what is real" but then turn around and vote for rudy or mitt or fred if they are the repub nominee is simply irrational. All of those candidates are renowned flip floppers. The only differencde is that, to the extent that those candidates don't blow like the wind, their positions should be anathema to any Democrat. And if your wife thinks Mitt or Rudy or Fred is "connected to what is real" then she is not as perceptive or well informed as you or she would like to believe.
