Their job is simply to bring together all wire services they can. They clearly show where it came from. And corporate press releases, while often scummy, are also often very useful for businesspeople--if Boeing announces that they sold forty 787s to United, say, they'll put out a press release, and people who subscribe to Boeing alerts will get that.
