10. I loved the caller...
...who, when confronted with the fact that, under Medicare, only $0.03 of every dollar goes to bureaucracy, while, under private insurance companies, that number jumps to $0.25 - $0.35, and then asked which is more efficient, simply wouldn't answer, but kept on saying "it's a matter of opinion," or "it's hard to say." :banghead:

It made me think of the story in Genesis where God promises Abraham that he will spare Sodom if "ten righteous men" can be found there. I think something of the converse applies here -- if, in a nation of 300 million, there can be three voters as mind-bogglingly stupid as the three that called in quick succession yesterday, there is no hope for that country. Where are we going, and how did we get in this handbasket? :shrug:
