I liken some nations (Iran and North Korea, anyone?) to people in the US who are disqualified from possessing guns because they do not have the capability to determine when it is appropriate to use one.

I have no more problem with allowing all rational nations to have nuclear weapons than I have with allowing all rational adults in the US to possess guns.

I am a gun owner.
