BTW, what happened to that? Did they ever follow through and kick out ALL who were involved in this coverup? It "nicely" (for Bushco that is) slipped off the radar screen when other things came up.

Yes, I've been thinking that there's been blackmail going on for some time. When you hear folks like Russell Feingold and Bernie Sanders trying to beg off the impeachment question on shows like Thom Hartman's or in other venues, you KNOW that there's something wrong behind the scenes.

The reason I say that Pat Tillman's case is SO important, is that it still isn't fully explained why they used executive privilege to cover up details of it. Some would say it was to cover up those in the administrations' complicity in the coverup or even the murder itself! I believe it to be a murder, though perhaps not with administration culpability for the act itself.

My suspicion is that in reality it wasn't so much of a way to cover up their complicity in any of those events. They've certainly found ways to weasel around many other investigations and any complicitness in those, even if some of that is more out in the open.

The reason I think they have covered this up, is to remove a "back door" means for the Democrats to get rid of all of their key lieutenants in the military whose presence there now makes a martial law coup for Bushco a real threat that might be a part of their enforcing this conspiracy of silence. All of the above conspiracies are reflecting means of making individual lawmakers stand down from confronting and taking on the president themselves via personal threats, etc. But for those threats to be real effective, I believe they need to be shown to still be in power beyond the 2008 elections. If the Dems were to be in charge then, Bushco people would be at their mercy in terms of being held accountable then when they are out of power.

The only way they are going to stay in power past 2008 is through some sort of martial law coup, enforced by executive order 51 which supposedly enables Bush to declare himself "il Duche"!. That is only possible if they have control over the military to command it into such a martial law control. If their key lieutenants are removed (through complete exposure of their activities with something like the Patrick Tilman event), this might not be possible for them any more, and I suspect that a big part of their teeth to enforce this wall of silence might be shut down.

That is why we need to continue to DEMAND that all of those responsible for the Patrick Tillman incident be brought forward and REMOVED from the military. That might let some other Dems come forward here on all of these other issues and "do the right thing"!
