Demented and sad, but social. - OP's "Breakfast Club"-influenced comment.

That’s okay lady, I do the same thing. The older I get the worse I spell.

P.S. I heard Gonzalez is going back to Texas to manage a Taco Bell.

The Peter Principle:

“In a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence.”..

“Yup, more political party payback...just make sure he/she is brown friendly. How about a nominee that will uphold the law.”

Olson is not a friend Bush. He is just a very honest and upright man who has been a good Republican. That doesn’t mean he is a hack. He never has been, and he was very instrumental in the choices of Alito and Roberts. Don’t knock him.

The guy really was a terrible choice. Like Harriet Meyers. Let’s see who Bush will chose next. The Dems want a liberal hack or someone like Fitzpatrick. Let’s see if Bush shoots himself in the foot yet again.

They are saying “Chertoff likely replacement”! Are they stoned? Don’t they realize it will be Harriet Miers Part II? Chertoff should have been canned along with Big Gay Alberto—not PROMOTED! IF Bush recess appoints Chertoff, the House and Senate GOP should deny him anything else until he’s out of office.

I believe Fredo is going fishing, ie sleeping with the fishes. That's his fishmeister behind him, a loyal trusted goon.

Here’s my question, would Bush have given him the job if he wasn’t Hispanic?
