I work with fundementalist Christians much of the time. This reminds me very strongly of their habit of screaming "persecution!" when called on their bad behaviour. It also sounds like the tendancy of some Americans to claim anti-Americanism when someone outside the US points out how bad US foreign policy has been for the last twenty years.

In other words, you aren't disputing that the points raised are accurate, you're attacking us for raising them.
