10. At this point, getting a repuke
to take his place is iffy, even in this red district. The Illinois repuke party is badly fractured.

I think it would be funny if the Milk Nazi ran. There is talk he will. Any other repukes who run will be relatively unknown.

This will cost a lot of money, for both groups of candidates. Maybe he wants to make everyone spend their campaign money for the special election, so that they have little for the regular election.

Laesch got 40 percent of the vote against Denny in the last election. I think a Democrat can take it this time. The special election is a ploy to muddy the waters and cost valuable time and money. The 14th District will need a strong GOTV effort among Democrats in the special election. Since they border me, I will help. I will be working on GOTV efforts in the 16th, too. That will not be as hard, with Obama running in the primary. I don't know about the general election.
