After we got our swimming pool installed, she called the local police station and asked them what the local laws were regarding nude sunbathing.

She explained that we had a pool, and a fence, and wanted to know if she could get in trouble sunbathing naked on her own property, inside the fence.

The cops said no, it would be okay.

And then five minutes later, the cops called back, and all my mom heard was the taped record of her phone call to the cops, and a bunch of them laughing out loud while they did it.

And all summer long, cops would slowly cruise by our house, right along the fence, probably hoping to catch a peak.

Oh, Mom!
