35. Huh. It's amazing that I can have this same conversation above with youngdem...
and yet it's so much more civil.

Anyway, leaving your desperate need for an attitude adjustment aside, I'm not suggesting that there's some "good" result possible. I'm suggesting that there are varying degrees of bad, and we need to consider which one is the worst. As I said to youngdem, it's not as though I dismiss completely leaving Iraq as an invalid argument. I do think, however, that the plans offered by every single Democratic contender with a chance in hell of winning the primary are worth at least considering, and for you to slap their ideas aside with a simple, smug "Spare Me," is not just to call me a Republican using neocon talking points -- you're calling Edwards, Clinton and Obama Republicans using neocon talking points. And if the Democrats are all not just Republicans, but neoconservatives as well, then the finer points of the Iraq withdrawal is not even close to the biggest problem we have. Happily, I think any rational voice would allow that, while the Democratic contenders each have their problems (some a lot more than others), none of them is cut whole-cloth from Dick Cheney's skin.
