117. To those of you poo-pooing this strike...
what are some of your ideas for bringing about much-needed change? Polls indicate that the overwhelming majority of Americans do not approve of the direction the country is headed. What are some solutions to better the country and how do we get there? Infrastructure is crumbling, financial markets may very well be imploding (I'm very curious to see what happens to credit card interest rates), the war in Eye-raq is bankrupting us (on all levels) – name your poison. (And to the obvious trolls attempting to be clever, don’t bother – I’m not interested. Although, your attempts at opaqueness are rather entertaining...)

After reading through many of the posts in this thread it strikes me (sorry), that children would still be working in the mines and blacks would still be sitting at the back of the bus if those before us had the complacent attitude that many on this board have today.
