90. Don't be surprised if he pays a White House visit to Bush soon.

He's just overwhelmed at the moment and hiding out. A lot of people would be thrilled at meeting the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA regardless of their personal political views. I was on a very small team that performed one of Reagan's three 2nd term initiatives for the Veterans Administration in 85-86. While I thought Reagan was a brain dead moron, I was a little disappointed to get nothing more than a check** after they told us at one point that the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA wanted to shake our hands and thank us.

He probably changed his mind when it dawned on him that we gov't employees had just done that which his friends in the private sector said they couldn't do by the end of his term. Bit of poke in the eye for Mr "government is the problem, not the solution". On top of that we were part of the same team that defeated his attempt to privatize a portion of the VA.

**Albeit, the largest such bonus in VA history up to that point. The VA is the 2nd largest department of the US gov't, only DoD is larger. Yours truly was the first VA employee in history with an IT degree.
