Do you ever have this problem when discussing things with a Con?

I have a acquaintance who is a conservative and is cocksure of her conservative opinion on everything (big surpise).

She asked me why I "hate Bush so much."

Without even getting into the Iraq fiasco, I brought up the stem cell issue. She'd never heard of blastocysts or the fact that they are discarded after so many weeks anyway.

I brought up the Kyoto Treaty. Again, she'd never heard of it and didn't know how it related to Bush anyway.

WTF? I give up.

There's a difference between an opinion and an informed opinion. I decided not to even tell her that.
