I have been thinking about starting this thread for weeks but with so many people on this board that seem to hate all things ostentatious or even slightly fossil fuel burning, i was concerned it would disappear too fast. I knew there were hundreds of aviation enthusiasts too, but the naysayers on DU tend to drown out enthusiasts, regardless of topic. Witness any thread having to do with Motor Racing, for instance.

I'm glad you read through my OP and didnt get up in my grill (or cowling, as the case may be!;) )
