and you will see the majority of Democrats voting along with them to pass these bills. The republicans are the ones who have been standing in the way of a compromise which would overcome Bush's veto.

Legislatively, Reid and Pelosi have done as much as the present makeup of Democrats would bear. That effort has enjoyed unified support from Democrats and unified opposition from republicans.
