Remember during the debates in 2008 when McCain said he knew where bin Laden was and that's why we should elect him?

Remember how dumb that comment was? Because surely if McCain knew where bin Laden was, he'd tell someone for we could go out and get his ass. But he didn't. He just used that as a political tactic. Show the world he gets it and Obama doesn't.

Well likewise, DUers now are wondering why the Gulf leak hasn't been plugged. As if it's a solution so easily found that even they could figure it out. But instead of doing something about it - like contacting the WH, they'd rather complain on a message board that Obama isn't doing enough. Or doing what they think is right.

What right is they won't say. No one can tell us how to stop this leak. Just that he should be stopping it because, well, he's the president! As if being president automatically makes one a superhero.

So McCain knew how to get bin Laden, but didn't tell anyone and these fools know how to stop the leak, but would rather spend time bitching here than actually going down to the Gulf and telling scientists how to do their job.

Isn't that just great?
