And either way, her resistance was certainly minimal. I'm not really sure as to when we became a nation that thinks it's okay to throw a woman down on her head and pummel the living shit out of her for something that could easily be handled in a more sane matter, but apparently it's happened. Could you maybe shed a little light on this for me, since you seem to think that this woman deserved a serious beating and health problems for the rest of her life for grabbing a chair?

Have you ever heard of the concept that violence should be a last resort for anybody, but in particular police officers? Their stated goal is always to defuse a potentially violent situation, not start with the violent beating right off the bat.
