they weren't very cheery when he came out, like they would have been for Obama or Clinton, but I think once he got going, it eventually came across very, very well - it's gotta be harder going on Letterman than being in a debate when you're a politician... LOL
This honestly is a very important appearance for him, coming off the S.C. Debate victory (CNN talking heads and undecided say he was the best), and he needed to seem like a regular guy and be funny, I think he accomplished that. I wish it would have went a couple minutes longer so he coulda discussed the Iraq Occupation, or the Economy! He sure made me laugh several times! WAY TO GO JOHN!  |
