What role is his wife playing in advising him? I used to think that spouses of leaders - especially US Presidents - tend to be their closest confidants? Does his wife not have any influence in all of his decisions?
I am coming to believe that he is agreement politically with rethuglicans - possibly moderately conservative rethuglicans and a closet DLC, or Third Way or New Democrat member.
